Taken at 3 AM, at Glacier Point. I was surprised at how many other photographers were up on the mountain. In fact it was a wonderful expereince waiting for the moon to come out with the other photographers and campers on the edge of a 10,000 foot cliff! My camera does not do low-light well, in this sense I miss film. f.3.5, 30 sec. ISO 100

Wish I had taken the picture. You did great with what you had and the results are something to be proud of. A switch to a DSLR will eliminate most of your low light problems. I appreciate your image. |

You can't say anymore that you camera doesn't do low-light well! This is a stupendous shot. Maybe you could even sell it to the Park for their brochures. I'm still using film cuz I won't spring for a digital SLR camera - they both have ups and downs. I have a great shot of the moon coming up at Crater Lake, but almost lost the chance when a BEAR showed up just as the moon came up! We're part of the food chain after dark - be careful! |
