We had a great crop of wild mushrooms growing under the trees at our church. I waited until they were the right size I wanted, watching over the coarse of about 10 days. I wanted to use them as footstools in a composite of children pictures. But I liked many of the shots just as they are.
I don't own a real macro lens but this one has a macro setting of sorts that worked okay. I lit the mushrooms with a strobe hanging from an off camera cord under the lens that I directed by hand, shot is also hand held laying on my belly while getting bitten by bugs! I hope the images are worth it!. Actual exposure was f4.5, 1/45 sec. ISO 100 Focal length 60mm.
